If you make the observation away from your 'home' location, you may get a warning message after entering the new latitude and longitude values. The values are accepted (as long as they are valid latitude/longitude values on the Earth) even though the warning is shown...just to ask that you reaffirm the location values you typed in.

You may enter the Thermistor Resistance value at any time and obtain a temperature reading.

The Submit Report button will not become active until:

• The location, date, and time values have been entered and there is a value shown for the Solar Elevation.
• Values have been entered for all 6 Photometer channels
• You have picked the type of clouds and present weather

If you receive an alert message "Report not filed..." after you click the Submit Report button, the likely cause is problems with the server or the network.

The background color of messages means:

• None - just information
• cyan - a reminder
• yellow - an alert...something is not right
