Spported by a NASA IDEAS grant (S.S. Limaye,
PI) and a Wisconsin Idea grant, this is an ongoing workshop for middle
and high school science teachers who teach Astronomy/Space Science.
A one week Summer Workshop washeld for
August 11-15th in Madison and featured presentations by experts
on Space Science topics useful for teacher background knowledge, curriculum
planning, and student resources available for teachers. Additional
fall meetings are planned on September 27, October 18th and November 15th.
WInter/Spring dates will be chosen later. Details will be posted below
when available.
