Interests:

Along side my work at SSEC, my interests include polar meteorology (especially Antarctic meteorology), chaos theory, forecasting, atmospheric predictability, satellite meteorology and interactive processing.

Background:

Orginally, I am a graduate of King Philip Regional High School's Environmental Science Department in Wrentham, Massachusetts (my hometown). I have my undergraduate degree from Lyndon State College in Vermont with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology , and Minors in Math and Physics. Recently, I completed graduate school from Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at the University of Wisconsin - Madison's Graduate School with a Masters in Atmospheric Sciences. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences as well as working on my minor in Curriculum and Instruction (Science). I am a member of the American Geophysical Union, the American Meteorological Society , the National Weather Association, and the Mt. Washington Observatory.
