Just a final note to everyone - I'm hopefully on my way back to teh US tomorrow, so this will be my last note from McMurdo Station, Antarctica. I'll fill you in on anything I've left off upon my return to the States.

Today I had Bag Drag - which is the term for 'dragging' your bags to the Movement Control Center, MCC, to have your checked bags be taken from you and your wieght be taken with all of your cold weather gear on.

For an LC-130 to take off - weight is important. This year, unlike last year, we are due to take off on wheels instead of skis on the ice runway.
