The Office of Space Science Education is engaged in community programs, teacher development programs in earth and space science, K-12 student programs and science museum programs in partnership with state and national collaborations. OSSE are supported by funds from NASA, NOAA, the University of Wisconsin System and Evjue Foundation. 


OSSE strongly emphasizes partnerships with teachers in local and regional schools to develop standards-based classroom programs. The Office of Space Science Education is committed to partnerships with the educational community to achieve the mutual objective of improving the level of literacy for science, math and technology education. OSSE is dedicated to the belief that these state and national goals will be achieved by sharing the excitement of new discoveries acquired through space exploration and earth remote sensing research.
