NASA/ SHARP Program
 

SSEC has hsoted students from all over the US who were competitively selected to participate in the Summer High School Apprentice Research Program (SHARP). 
This summer, three students are being hosted at SSEC and are being mentored by Jim Kossin, Dr. Lawrence Sromovsky, and Dr. Sanjay Limaye.

SSEC hosted nine NASA/SHARP students in the summer of 1997. A local high school student, Andrew Holbrook worked with Sanjay Limaye for a Thinkquest project called Mars Quest. He won the first place award in November 1997.
